About Me

I received my Ph.D. from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Taiwan, where I worked in AIMM Lab under the mentorship of Prof. Wen-Huang Cheng and Prof. Hong-Han Shuai. Prior to that, I obtained my B.S. in Electronics from National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan. During my Ph.D., I was fortunate to spend time as a visiting student at UC Merced as a visiting student, where I collaborated with Prof. Ming-Hsuan Yang and Dr. Kelvin C.K. Chan from Google DeepMind.

My research focuses on developing controllable and trustworthy visual AI systems that can understand, generate, and interact with the world. I am particularly interested in generative visual models, multimodal learning and understanding, and AI safety, with current research spanning image and video generation, multimodal visual alignment, image immunization, and content authentication.

🚀 I will join the Department of Computer Science at National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) as an Assistant Professor in August 2026!

📢 I am actively looking for motivated students and researchers interested in computer vision, multimedia, and generative AI. Prospective Ph.D. students, undergraduate researchers, and research assistants are welcome to reach out if they are interested in working with me or exploring potential research opportunities. If you have exciting research ideas, potential collaboration opportunities, or would simply like to connect, please also feel free to get in touch :))
